NHS Nurse Recruitment

Eligibility Requirements
As a nurse, You need to have a BSc or GNM degree with at least 6 months of clinical experience and a valid nursing license.
NMC Registration
Apply for registration with the NMC. This involves providing evidence of your qualifications, professional experience, and English language proficiency. This can be done later after clearing OET as well. This will be needed eventually. The cost for the registration is: £120.
English Language Proficiency
Choose between OET (Occupational English Test) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) for language proficiency. Since OET is preferred due to its proximity to the overall education and work experience as a medical staff.

POST OET/IELTS
Register for the CBT TOC(Test of Competence) exam. This is fairly simple and the exam has two parts with a combined cost of GBP 83
VISA
Once you have passed the OET, the CBT-TOC, submitted the health and other supporting documents, completed the NMC registration formalities as is viewed on the NMC portal's list visible to you, the interview is over and you have been confirmed placement. You will receive an application form from the recruiter for the Certificate of Sponsorship. This will take about 1 month time and you will receive the certificate that you need to carry to the VISA office for the interview. Now you 🛫 to the United Kingdom!
